Kinawley will be the place to be for Country music lovers this weekend as ‘A Country Night with the Stars’ returns to the Fermanagh village.
Kinawley Community Centre will host a range of Country music talents in a special event on Friday night [August 23].
The headline act for the night will be Wicklow singer, Jack Keogh, a rising star of Country.
One of his most popular songs at the moment is his hit, ‘My Grandfather’s Accordion’.
Tony Kerr will be making his debut in Kinawley having recently performed in the Ardhowen Theatre.
Fresh off winning an All-Ireland jiving title, Jordan McPolin will be performing in Kinawley as part of the evening’s events.
A number of local singers will also play on the night including Ederney singer Dana Kaye, who will be making a return to Kinawley.
Arney’s own Tommy Owens and Derrygonnelly’s Rachel McConnell will also be among those performing.
Other highlights will include a performance by Sean Loughrey, who is the latest in a long line of musicians from the Loughrey family to perform on the Country music circuit.
The MC for the event will be Sean Wallace, who will welcome those attending to what is sure to be a night of music and memories, with the Fergal McConnell Band performing as backing.
Doors will open at 9pm for a 9.30pm performance, and those attending are asked to pay at the door.
