There were busy scenes in Kesh across the weekend as the community welcomed a community carnival, with not even some spells of bad weather dampening the upbeat mood.
Events had been arranged for all ages and interests, although there was no denying that, for many, a lively sheep run in the heart of Kesh was a highlight to remember, as people cheered on the fleet-footed ladder-leaping sheep as they raced to a finish line.
Younger citizens particularly enjoyed dressing up with their pals for a colourful fancy dress parade, while several Alans met other Alans at ‘the Alan event’, bringing those with the matching moniker together.
With everything from road safety information to local crafts to buy, and much more to take in, the people of Kesh didn’t like the weather get in the way of enjoying a fun and diverse weekend that showed the great imagination and enthusiastic community support that’s at the heart of Kesh.
