One year on from the opening of Piece of Cake in Enniskillen, the business will close its doors for the final time.

This Saturday, September 7 will see the bakery sell its final products in the Enniskillen shop.

In a post on their social media last month, Piece of Cake said: "We’re coming up to the one year open mark in Enniskillen at the end of the month and despite it still being marginally busier than Omagh, we’ve decided that our 1 year (sic) anniversary on 7th September will be our last day trading from that premises."

The owners said they would be taking a break from the business in September to go travelling and go back to Australia.

October will see the business change its focus and become more online-based with the Omagh store still open to the public at the weekends.

The post continued: "We’re very fortunate to be in a position to have the choice to take our business in the direction we feel is best for us personally- and ultimately we are struggling with how busy things have become and how much responsibility is involved. But at the same time we are very grateful for all of your support that has made it this way.

"Simplifying our business and focusing on our strengths which is ultimately our bakes is how we plan to move forward.

"Both Omagh and Enniskillen will be open as normal until Saturday 7th September.

"Thank you as always for your continued support."
