FOLLOWING on from last week’s striking autumnal shot, Fermanagh photographer Stephanie Wiggins has another great seasonal image for readers this week, simply entitled ‘Autumn White Bridge’.
“Here, I’m back in Crom Estate again, this time photographing the White Bridge. If you’re not familiar with Crom and want to know the best time of year to visit – it’s Autumn, in my opinion. All the different woodlands on the estate showcase all the Autumnal colours.
“The White Bridge at Crom is a great place to stop and take in the surrounding beauty, with a great view of the lough and the Summer House peeping from amongst the trees.
“For wildlife lovers, this is a great place to spot some red squirrels collecting their nuts in preparation for Winter.
“Stags in the deer park begin rutting season, to which they’ll fight with other males to compete for dominance. You can often hear them roaring throughout the estate.”
