The Fermanagh Live Arts Festival is set to make a grand return this October.

The festival, which was last held in 2022, includes a packed programme of literature, film, music, drama, spoken word, comedy, and creative events around Enniskillen from October 1 to October 6.

Tickets are available at http://www.flive.org.uk/.

The festival kicks off with a screening of the award-winning film, 'That They May Face the Rising Sun', at the Enniskillen Hotel on October 1 at 8pm.

The official opening takes place on October 3, with the launch of 'Home', an exhibition by Irish artist Megan Dunbar at Devenish Gallery.

Festival favourites are set to return, including Fermanagh-based architect Richard Pierce, who will present a lecture on October 4.

An autumnal wreath-making workshop will also take place that day, along with a performance by violinist Vladimir Jablokov in St. McCartan's Cathedral.

Saturday, October 5, will feature several storytelling events, including a travel writing workshop with author and journalist Paul Clements.

A boat trip with historian Seamus MacAnnaidh and a performance by comedian Seamus O’Rourke are also scheduled.

The final day of the festival will begin with a live music brunch event featuring jazz and soul singer Katharine Timoney.

This will be followed by an afternoon of poetry, music, and words from the Workhouse with writer Teresa Godfrey and pianist Jonathan Beatty.

The festival will conclude with a celebration of Ukrainian arts and a screening of the film 'Olga'.

Lisa Clarke, chairperson of FLive, said: "We have a wonderfully varied programme of cultural and artistic events to choose from this year, based around the incredible talent we have here in Fermanagh and further afield.

"Fermanagh Live is run voluntarily for you the people, so come join us at FLive for what will be a most enjoyable and enriching festival."
