A DERRYLIN man who was accused of arson and common assault has had all charges against him dismissed.
John Paul McCauley (44), of Knockninny Park, Derrylin, appeared at Enniskillen Magistrate's Court on Monday, September 16.
McCauley had previously pleaded not guilty to a total of four charges, including threats to damage property, common assault, and arson, whereby he was accused of setting 35 grass bales on fire.
However, at a short contest hearing, a prosecutor advised District Judge Alana McSorley that all charges should be dismissed.
Judge McSorley agreed, and dismissed all four charges.
A restraining order against McCauley, which is in favour of one of the alleged complainants, was also granted.
