Early risers get some of the best views of the county, and this week Fermanagh photographer Stephanie Wiggins has a spectacular photo to share with readers, ‘Sunrise at Killyfole Lough’.
She says: “On any early rises, Killyfole Lough is a great place to catch the sunrise. Situated between Lisnaskea and Rosslea, this lough provides something for everyone.
“The 2.5km loop around the lough is a popular spot amongst walkers, with lovely scenic views of the water and woodlands throughout.
“The small beach area is ideal for families to enjoy a picnic and for children to splash in the shallow water.
“Within the past few years, Killyfole Lough has grown popular for paddle boarding and other water activities.
“Appearing around the lough are several angling stands for those wanting to do some fishing or get that bit closer to the water. Don’t forget to bring some food for the ducks too!
“Overall, this is a brilliant place to explore, and is suitable for everyone.”
