Culture Night was yet again a busy evening in Fermanagh as groups from right across the county put on a show and displayed wonderful acts of culture.
In Garrison, Belleek CCÉ hosted a night of music, culture and storytelling in the Riverside Bar. There a full house with those attending aged from 9 to 90. It was described by as a "wonderful night" by participants.
Kinawley Community Centre hosted a busy culture night with an evening of local comedy, music and song featuring Eiru, Kinawley Drama and Damian McKenna. There was great excitement for the evening and laughs a plenty as the community gathered to mark Culture Night.
Elsewhere, Sruth na hÉirne marked Culture Night by officially launching “Club Óige” , the youth club which will have its weekly base at Fermanagh House.
Thirteen members from all parts of the county signed up on Culture night and took part in a fun-filled session of various greetings conducted through Irish . Led by co-tutors Darragh Keown of Monea and Gerardine Monroe of Macken, the Friday club held after school at 4 pm aims at having an informal, fun-filled approach to using Irish as an everyday living language. As a result of their efforts, all members were delighted to be treated to apple tart and cream.
