A fundraising group is calling on people to help them reach a £1 million target.
Friends of the Cancer Centre’s Fermanagh Fundraising Group is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has raised more than £986,000 for the charity.
To help them reach the £1 million mark, the group is asking people across Fermanagh to join them for a walk at Castle Coole on Saturday, September 28.
The walk will start at 11am, with registration from 10.15am.
Participants will set off and take in the lakeside walk around the Neo-classical house, before returning to the courtyard for refreshments.
Geraldine Corrigan, chair of the fundraising group, said: "This will be our third year holding the annual walk at Castle Coole and this year we are hoping it will be the biggest and best yet as we also celebrate our 10th anniversary.
"I hope to see lots of familiar faces and some new ones too as we get together for the walk, a chat and a cuppa."
Community fundraising officer for Friends of the Cancer Centre, Sarah Wilson, said: "The Castle Coole walk on September 28 is set to be a great day."
Registration for the walk is £10 per person, with children under 12 going free if accompanied by an adult.
Dogs are not permitted on the walk.
