A WELL-KNOWN solicitor and GAA stalwart will be laid to rest in Enniskillen tomorrow (Saturday).
Mr. Quinn, of Burdendale Tempo Road, passed away on Wednesday.
He is to be laid to at St. Michael's Church, Enniskillen, with removal at 1.15pm, and funeral Mass at 2pm.
Mr. Quinn was heavily involved in local GAA, and had served as a chairman of Enniskillen Gaels.
He was also a much-respected solicitor and owner of J. Quinn Solicitors on Belmore Street.
Paying tribute to Mr. Quinn, a spokesman from Enniskillen Gaels said: "We offer sincere condolences to John’s wife Dolores, his sons Fergal and Ronan and to his extended family.”
The Enniskillen Gaels GAA club also confirmed that ‘all club activity will be put on hold until after John’s funeral’."
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Belnaleck GAC said: "We would like to offer our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Quinn Family on the sad passing of Johnny RIP.
"Johnny was a passionate GAA man with deep roots in Enniskillen Gaels. He took on a number of roles within the Club, the most recent serving as chairman.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Dolores, Sons Fergal and Ronan, extended Family and his friends in Enniskillen Gaels Club."
