Belfast Community Gospel Choir (BCGC) are set to bring joy and passion to a performance next month in Enniskillen, in a special event hosted by Enniskillen Methodist Church at Devenish College.
BCGC is Northern Ireland’s first and only multicultural gospel choir. They are much sought-after due to their dynamic performances, which are charged with joy, passion and energy.
They take great pride in the fact that their choir family is multicultural, cross-community and inclusive.
They are committed to performing music that carries the message of love, joy and peace and that promotes a positive image of Northern Ireland.
Marie Lacey, the choir director, has been a performer for almost four decades, with her powerful voice and humorous personality earning her great respect in the Northern Ireland music scene and abroad.
She is quite demonstrative when performing, and her natural exuberance and enthusiasm is mirrored by every BCGC performer.
Her great passion has always been Gospel and Soul music, and so it was that in 2009 she pursued her dream to form a funky, fun and fabulous community gospel choir - and thus, BCGC was born.
BCGC will perform in Devenish College on Saturday, November 2 at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm).
Tickets are priced £20 each, and are available from Eventbrite (search BCGC Enniskillen); Devenish College; Oasis Bookshop, Lisnaskea; or call 0776 853 191.
