A former Enniskillen teacher charged with sexual assault of a child under 13 years of age will contest the charge in December.
David Baxter (65), with an address of Killadeas Road, Lisnarick, Enniskillen, denies the single sexual assault charge which is alleged to have taken place on a date between February 1 and April 30, 2018.
At a brief hearing in Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday, an agreed contest date of December 18 was set.
A pre-contest review of the case will be heard on December 4.
Baxter is a former teacher and Head of Music at Erne Integrated College, Enniskillen, having retired in 2019.
He also served as Northern Ireland President of the National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT), and as both a founding member and Musical Director of Chamber Choir West.
Baxter was an occasional columnist with The Impartial Reporter, where he gave his view on matters relating to education.
