An Enniskillen man convicted of harassment of a woman has been ordered to serve community service.
Brian Corrigan (40), with an address of Derrylin Road, Enniskillen, harassed the woman between February 2 and March 19, 2023.
It was heard on March 18 of last year the injured party contacted police stating the defendant had sent her unwarranted messages.
They said Corrigan also arrived at her home address, banging at her door and abusing her and her partner.
Corrigan also sent messages through Facebook Messenger and TikTok to the injured party.
It was also alleged that Corrigant messaged the victim over a number of weeks asking her to drop a separate harassment charge.
Corrigan's barrister, Stephen Fitzpatrick, admitted his client's offending would be of concern to the court but added it was to Corrigan's "credit" that there had been no incidents involving these parties in over 18 months.
Mr. Fitzpatrick told the court Corrigan had stayed out of trouble and "learnt his lesson" with the help of family who have had a "stabilising effect" on him.
In sentencing, District Judge Alana McSorley told Corrigan that attending the injured party's address was a mitigating factor but there was mitigation in the addendum pre-sentence report which showed Corrigan was engaging well with probation and moving in the right direction.
Corrigan received 60 hours of community service and a 12 month restraining order.
