A poignant service of remembrance and thanksgiving was held in Lisbellaw Presbyterian Church.
The event, SEFF's 12th service of its kind, was attended by victims and survivors of terrorism from across the community.
Kenny Donaldson, director of SEFF, said: “Sunday’s service (SEFF’s 12th service of Remembering and Thanksgiving) took place in Lisbellaw Presbyterian Church and was facilitated by Rev. Rodney Beacom.
"It was a very poignant service attended by innocent victims/survivors of terrorism from across the community."
The service was attended by individuals from various sectors including policing, and politics.
Cathy (Burleigh) Donnelly shared a personal reflection, speaking fondly of her father, William, who was murdered by Provisional IRA terrorists.
Mr Donaldson said: "She referenced the values system at play within their family and poignantly spoke of the pressure upon the family unit and the special role of women."
The service also included contributions from Helen Robinson and Linda Nelson, who read lessons of scripture, and prayers from Hannah Graham, Peter McBrien, Harriett Kirkpatrick, Sarah Bogue, Jeff Smith, and Eric Brown.
Mr Donaldson expressed gratitude to Rev'd Rodney Beacom for conducting the service.
He said: "His message of Christian renewal and hope in spite of the earthly ills visited upon those impacted by terror was very apt."
He concluded with a quote from Booker T. Washington: "A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong doesn’t become right and evil doesn’t become good just because it’s accepted by a majority."
