A Fermanagh fundraising group is close to raising £1 million for families impacted by cancer.
Over the past 10 years, Friends of the Cancer Centre's Fermanagh Fundraising Group has collected £986,000 to help families in Fermanagh and across Northern Ireland.
The group hopes to reach the £1 million mark with its upcoming event at Kinawley Community Centre on October 22.
The event will celebrate the group's 10th anniversary with performances from local stars including Kathy Durkin, Tommy Owens, Paul Kelly, and Rachel McConnell.
Geraldine Corrigan, chair of Friends of the Cancer Centre's Fermanagh Fundraising Group, said: "This is going to be a fantastic night filled with music and dancing, and everyone is welcome to come along.
"We are thrilled to have the best local talent appearing on the night and we can’t wait to get our dancing shoes on and enjoy the night.
"I would like to say a special thank you to everyone at Kinawley Community Centre and the local community, who have been so supportive of the group as we continue to raise vital funds for a cause close to so many hearts.
"I’m sure, with the help of our family and friends, and everyone who supports us in the area, the Cabaret Night will be a great success."
The money raised by the group has been vital to the work of Friends of the Cancer Centre, which is dedicated to making a real and meaningful difference to cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland.
Sarah Wilson, community fundraising officer for Friends of the Cancer Centre, said: "This group of volunteers are an incredible bunch of people and it is a privilege and a pleasure to support them this year as they have worked tirelessly across the community to raise vital funds for the charity."
