A TOTAL of £7.31 million in Invest NI funding has been awarded to businesses in Fermanagh and South Tyrone over the past two years.
UUP MLA Diana Armstrong sought details regarding this funding during a recent sitting of Stormont.
In response Economy Minister Conor Murphy reported that Invest NI measures its performance on a financial year basis, with the most recent year ending on March 31, 2024.
She revealed that from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2024, Invest NI offered support to businesses in the constituency totalling £7.31 million.
“This funding has been crucial in supporting local businesses and fostering economic growth in the region,” Minister Murphy stated.
In addition to direct financial support, Invest NI has also offered a range of services to assist businesses.
The Minister added: “Invest NI provides wider support through advice, assistance, and guidance from its staff, as well as resources available on nibusinessinfo.co.uk, our online business advice portal.
