A new solo exhibition by artist Lucy Jones is set to open in Enniskillen.
Humanity’s Mix-tape is the mixed-media artist's first solo show, and it will be displayed in Enniskillen Library throughout November.
Ms Jones, a graduate of the National College of Art and Design in 2004, has spent much of her childhood in Fermanagh, visiting her grandparents and currently her parents.
The artist, who now resides in Co Kildare, creates art driven by her visceral reactions to real-world encounters.
The exhibition, which will be open to the public from November 6 to 30, is described by Ms Jones as an embodiment of the human experience, exploring themes from family connections and belief to death and self-perception.
The public can get a glimpse of her unique artistic interpretation of humanity at the exhibition’s launch on November 5 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Her work is held in both public and private collections.
She draws inspiration from a variety of artists, including the equine paintings of Jack B. Yeats and the abstract watercolours of Ken Thrift, which sparked her initial experiments in mixed media.
