Fireworks will brighten the Enniskillen sky again after being cancelled in recent years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Fireworks Festival returned on Friday, October 25 and will continue up to the fireworks on Halloween night on Thursday, October 31.
Fiacre O’Donnell, sustainability director at Encirc, is delighted to sponsor the Fermanagh Fireworks Festival and work with the Enniskillen Business Improvement District (BID) team, who are delivering and organising the event.
Mr. O'Donnell said: “Encirc is committed to supporting our community and we want to support projects that have a social impact, projects that have a purpose and can make a difference.
"The fireworks festival was one of the biggest community events in our calendar and was hugely popular before Covid-19.
"It has been missed over the last few years.
"The fireworks attract people to our county town from throughout Fermanagh and beyond.
"As a result, it was not a difficult decision for us to throw our support fully behind Enniskillen BID’s desire to bring back the fireworks.
"We are delighted to sponsor the Fermanagh Fireworks Festival and have been heartened by the reaction to the news that the fireworks are returning.
"I think that just goes to prove how popular they are and what they mean to the people of Fermanagh."
Mr. O'Donnell believes that the Halloween extravaganza will benefit the local economy.
He said: "We should not underestimate the boost that this will bring to the local economy, and it is very timely coming after the end of the summer season and before the Christmas rush.
"There should be a great atmosphere around Enniskillen and throughout the county as the excitement builds towards Halloween."
Noelle McAloon of Enniskillen BID said: "Enniskillen BID partnership with Encirc to bring back the Enniskillen Fireworks has received overwhelming support from the business community and from the public.
"While we knew that the cancellation of the fireworks had a detrimental impact on the businesses in Enniskillen we didn't anticipate just how missed they were by everyone across Fermanagh.
"The Halloween town centre parade starts at 4.30pm with free activities for families, followed by the Fireworks at 8pm, on Thursday will see an incredible atmosphere in Enniskillen."
Mrs. McAloon said Enniskillen BID has created an Enniskillen Discount Day with offers and special discounts.
They will also give away £1,000 of Enniskillen Gift Cards to lucky shoppers.
