The Ardhowen Theatre is set to host a series of events in November.

Kicking off on Friday, November 8, "A Night With the Country Stars" will return at 8pm.

The event will showcase a night of 'toe-tapping magic with five of Ireland's top stars all on one stage.'

The night will feature Brendan Shine, Sligo’s Patrick Feeney, Mr. Shawn Cuddy, Gary Gamble, and Curtis Magee.

These stars will perform their 'trademark hits' with Ireland's award-winning backing band Keltic Storm.

A smoke and haze machine will be used during this performance.

The following night, Saturday, November 9, will see Tim McGarry, known for Give My Head Peace and the Blame Game, bring his new stand-up show Ridiculous to the stage at 8pm.

The show promises to be an examination of life, politics, and the modern world with a comedic twist.

As the title suggests, the show may contain religious and political content, strong language, and is suitable for those aged 16 and over.

On Tuesday, November 12, set dancing classes with Brenda Murphy will take place from 7pm to 9pm.

The classes cater to all levels of experience from beginners to advanced and drop-ins are welcome.

The week will then conclude with acclaimed singer-songwriter Anthony Toner returning to the Gallery Bar at the Ardhowen Theatre on Thursday, November 14, at 9pm.

The 'intimate solo acoustic show' will feature songs from Toner's extensive back catalogue, including old favourites like ‘Sailortown’, ‘East of Louise’, and ‘Well Well Well’, along with selections from his more recent albums.

As always, Toner will showcase his 'exceptional guitar playing' and may also include some well-chosen cover versions, blues, and a number of stories from his travels, along with background information on the songs.

One audience member at a recent show commented that the evening was ‘like watching a series of beautiful short films’.

Gallery Bar performances are for those aged 18 and over only.
