“Our partnership with the incredible Enniskillen Running Club continues to flourish, enhancing community spirit and engagement” said Noelle McAloon, Enniskillen BID manager.

The festivities also included a monster mash disco and a special Halloween Howler morning walk ensuring that even pets were treated to a fun-filled experience.

Then it was time to head to the Broadmeadow for the return of the fireworks. A crowd estimated to be over 10,000 marvelled at the outstanding colours lighting up the sky.

Fiacre O’Donnell, sustainability director Encirc said: “The fireworks festival was always one of the biggest community events in our calendar and was hugely popular attracting people from across the county and indeed from further afield bringing much need support to many of the businesses in Enniskillen.

"So when the opportunity arose, we were delighted to give our support to the event.

"What we got was a wonderful event, brilliantly organised by Noelle and BID, with a super reaction from Enniskillen town with lots of other activities that week.

It just goes to show that together we are stronger, so we at Encirc will continue to look at how we can collectively join forces with other businesses and organisations to strategically map out a future for the betterment of everyone in this community."

The culmination of the Halloween week in Enniskillen, was a special discount shopping day in town. Over 40 businesses took part in the inaugral Enniskillen Discount Day and the offers varied from 20 per cent off in high street boutiques, to free desserts in local eateries!

“It is great to hear the overwhelmingly positive reaction to not just the fireworks but also the afternoon town centre Halloween activity. The numbers attending was quite staggering” said BID Chairman, Pat Blake.

“The benefit to Enniskillen is incalculable and aligns perfectly with ‘Experience Enniskillen’ the marketing arm of Enniskillen Business Improvement District (BID). The exposure is priceless and highlights the beauty and uniqueness of Enniskillen."
