A Lisnaskea activity centre is appealing for new toys and vouchers to brighten Christmas for young people with cancer.
Share Discovery Village has partnered with Cancer Fund for Children to make Christmas a little brighter for young people with cancer.
With 10 children and young people diagnosed each week across Ireland, the Cancer Fund for Children provides emotional, social, and therapeutic support to children and families impacted by cancer.
The charity also supports families dealing with the diagnosis of a parent or sibling and provides care at home, in hospital, and at its short break centre, Daisy Lodge.
Due to the children's impaired immunity, only new toys will be accepted, but Share Discovery Village is also asking for vouchers such as Amazon or One4All.
They said: "While Christmas is a tough time financially for many, any donation is greatly appreciated, no matter the size – even the smallest gift can make the biggest impact."
The appeal aims to ensure that each of the 90 young people using Cancer Fund for Children's short break facilities this December receives a gift.
Any additional new toys will be donated to the children's cancer ward and Daisy Lodges in Northern Ireland and Ireland.
The appeal is seeking toys and vouchers for young people aged under one to 22 years old.
Donations can be dropped off at Share's Arts Arena on Saturday, November 23 and 30, from 3pm to 6pm, Friday, December 6, from 5pm to 7pm, and Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, from 10am to 7pm.
They will be accepting old/used toys until Sunday, December 15.
