MAGUIRESBRIDGE Primary School is set for a busy and festive December, filled with activities to delight pupils, parents, and the community.
The celebrations begin with P5/6 and P6/7 classes visiting Florence Court House for the ‘Victorian Christmas’ programme, aligning with their study of the Victorian era.
All classes, along with the School and Eco Councils, competed in an ‘Alternative Christmas Tree Competition’ in November, with the creative trees displayed in the assembly hall for December events.
The school’s annual ‘Open Afternoon’ for prospective parents and pupils is on Wednesday, December 4.
Attendees can explore the school, enjoy outdoor play on the Thomas Trail, carol singing, and festive treats.
Friday, December 6, will be packed with activities, including the Santa’s Daily Mile NI where students in Christmas jumpers walk or run a mile.
The day also features the school Christmas Dinner, followed by a visit from Santa with gifts for all.
On Sunday, December 8, students will join friends from St. Mary’s for the community’s Christmas lights switch-on.
The school’s traditional Nativity play, involving all pupils, will be held at Christ Church on December 11 and December 12, with audiences invited back to the school for refreshments and to view the decorated trees.
Friday, December 13, will see students attending local post-primary schools for Christmas performances: P1 to P3 at Devenish College for ‘Aladdin’, and P4-P7 at Fivemiletown College for ‘Snow White’.
In the final week of term, the Senior Choir will visit Enniskillen to perform carols for shoppers, spreading holiday cheer.
Maguiresbridge Primary School's festive itinerary promises memorable experiences for all.
