FERMANAGH Women’s Aid is asking the local community for donations to help women and children in need this Christmas.
The charity, dedicated to empowering women, aims to provide dignity and choice for those facing hardship during the holiday season.
"We believe that allowing women and children to choose the gifts and essentials they need aligns with our mission of empowerment," said a spokesperson for the charity. "Our goal this Christmas is to brighten the season for those who need it most."
Fermanagh Women’s Aid is accepting a range of donations, including vouchers for women and children from local businesses, monetary contributions to their centre at 19 Darling Street, and new toiletries.
The charity is also requesting new pyjamas, winter clothing, and toys, all of which will be distributed before Friday, December 20. For those who prefer online giving, donations can be made via the charity's Enthuse platform.
"Thanks to the kindness of the community, we’re able to make a meaningful impact," the spokesperson continued. "Every donation—whether large or small—helps ensure that women and children receive the support they deserve this Christmas."
The charity encourages those who wish to donate to do so as soon as possible to allow time for distribution. For more details or to make a donation, visit [Fermanagh Women's Aid’s website] or visit their centre at 19 Darling Street.
