The 'Souls of Our Shoes' exhibition is set raise awareness about domestic abuse in Fermanagh later this month.
The display, organised by the Mothers’ Union in Clogher Diocese, will showcase different pairs of shoes with quotes from those who wore them, aiming to highlight the impact of domestic violence on individuals and families.
The exhibition arrives as reports of domestic abuse are expected to rise over the festive period, a pattern also observed during the World Cup.
A 2021 survey by Stowe Family Law revealed that one in six respondents felt more likely to experience abuse from their partner over Christmas.
The exhibition was unveiled at the Cassandra Hand Centre, Clones on November 15.
It will then move to Enniskillen Library, with a launch event at 6pm on November 26, where it will remain until December 7.
The exhibition is open to the public, with the Cassandra Hand Centre available from 10.30am daily until November 22.
Enniskillen Library will host the display during its normal opening hours.
The exhibition coincides with the Global 16 Days Campaign, which calls for the elimination of gender-based violence.
Since its inception in 1991, the campaign runs annually from November 25 to December 10.
