The festive season is upon us, and Ballinamallard is ready to kick-start the holiday cheer with the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On!
Mark your calendars for Friday, December 6, at 7pm for an evening full of festive fun and community spirit.
The evening's celebrations begin at 6.15 pm at the Ballinamallard Community Hub, where families can enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and mince pies. Adding a touch of magic for the little ones, special guests Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be on hand to spread holiday cheer.
At 6:45 pm, the Silver Band will take centre stage at the Bandstand in the Commons Playpark, filling the air with festive melodies to set the perfect mood for the occasion.
The highlight of the evening will take place at 7pm, when the Christmas lights will be officially switched on by Rev. Lorraine Capper, ushering in the holiday season with warmth and sparkle. Santa Claus himself will also make a special visit to delight the crowd, ensuring an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.
Following the switch on, the traditional Christmas Fair will take place in the Archdale Hall in the village where Santa will again make an appearance to meet all of the children of the village.
The fair will include a selection of stalls which will include beautiful crafts as well as a popular cake stall.
Entry is free for children and the price per adult is £2.50 which will include tea or a glass of non-alcoholic mulled wine.
This event promises to be a joyful gathering for the whole community, bringing people together to celebrate the magic of Christmas. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to share in the festivities and create lasting memories with family and friends.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to Ballinamallard’s most magical evening of the year. Let’s make this Christmas season one to remember!
