An Enniskillen man has been fined for possession of cannabis.
Conor James McManus (28), with an address of Drumbawn Close in the town, produced a tin with the drug in it from under a cushion at his house on September 14, 2024.
Police had attended McManus' address and detected a smell of cannabis. They searched the property and gave McManus the opportunity to hand over any drugs he had to which he immediately lifted a cushion and produced the tin which had 1g of cannabis in it.
He made full admissions, said he smoked too much and he bought the drugs "from a guy in town" and was "very sorry".
His solicitor, Garry Smyth, told the court it was a "minimal amount" for personal use and asked the court to give McManus credit for his early plea and attendance at court.
For possession of the Class B drug, McManus was fined £100.
