Multiple domestic abuse charges alleged to have occurred over a five-month period have been put to a Lisnaskea man who appeared in court.
In order of alleged occurrence, Richard Woods (22) from Keady Road is charged with assaulting a female and damaging a car seat in her vehicle on June 29.
Then on September 21 he is charged with two counts of intentionally applying pressure on or to her throat or neck affecting her ability to breathe or the flow of blood to her brain, assaulting her causing her actual bodily harm and assaulting two males.
It is further alleged on dates between April 2 and September 22, Woods engaged in a course of abusive conduct likely to cause the female to suffer physical or psychological harm.
A police officer aware of the facts of the case told Dungannon Magistrates Court the charges could be connected.
No details surrounding the circumstances of the alleged offending were disclosed during the short hearing.
District Judge Francis Rafferty remanded Woods on continuing bail to return to court on December 18.
