An Enniskillen church is seeking to use a factory for worship for another five-year period.
Fermanagh Christian Fellowship, which describes itself as a "non-denominational, cross-community charity organisation", is currently seeking planning permission to continue to use a former factory for its activities.
It was first approved to use the old factory on the Lackaboy Road for worship in December 2019.
This was for a five-year period, which is now approaching an end. The church purchased the property in March of this year.
A supporting statement from Fermanagh Christian Fellowship read: "There has been a significant increase in attendance at this church worship and cross-community charity venue - currently 250/300 on Sunday mornings.
"The current accommodation has met the needs of the church for the past five years and continues to facilitate the various groups, activities and programs.
"It remains the case that, the only building available and suitable to meet the needs of FCF in terms of space, facilities, parking and safe environment to accommodate up to 300 people is the premises at 20 Lackaboy Industrial Estate and the subject of this planning application.
"The property title is 999-year leasehold. FCF has owned the property since March 2024. FCF is currently making full utilisation of the existing internal floor space and external space for parking, thus meeting the needs of a growing church worship and community charity organisation.
"The proposal is a within-time renewal application of the previously approved planning application for the continued use of this building for church worship and community charitable purposes for a further five years."
According to the church, the premises provide a seating area for 300 people to occupy the building mainly for Sunday morning worship.
The existing internal arrangement is used to provide reception, sanctuary, creche, kitchen, dining area, sports hall, toilets, storage and ancillary space on the ground floor with counselling rooms, small group open space areas, kitchen and board room.
The supporting statement added: "The use of the premises is mainly on Sundays and evenings when traffic is light, therefore minimising impact on traffic flow and road safety."
