Back by popular demand, ‘Fermanagh’s Got Country’ returns for another night of toe-tapping magic tonight Thursday, July 20 at 8pm.

The super line-up will feature Malcolm McDowell, Anthony McBrien, Sean Corrigan, Francie Smith, Thomas Maguire and Fiona Ennis, Rachel McConnell, Country Features, Seany Mac, Vincie Walmsley and ‘the prince of Irvinestown’, Joe Mahon.

All acts will be accompanied by the terrific Country Harmony, with BBC’s Hugo Duncan also making a special guest appearance.

Moving on from music now, and Jane from Little Mess Fermanagh presents an hour of creative, messy play on Friday, July 21 at 10.30am, celebrating all things dinosaurs with ‘Tyrannosaurus Mess’.

This will be suitable for children aged six months to five years, but parents/carers must stay with their children throughout the session. There will also be a craft corner for older siblings aged six to 10 years.

At 8pm on Friday, July 21, the Ardhowen will welcome ‘Springsteen – A Tribute’, Ireland’s number-one Bruce Springsteen tribute act. Formally known as ‘Human Touch’, this six-piece band comprises top session musicians and is fronted by veteran American singer and guitarist, Monte Thompson, and will be a must-see spectacle for all fans of The Boss.

‘Born to be WILD!’, a new and exciting jungle-themed show, is sure to keep children entertained on Saturday, July 22 at 2pm as they are taken on an adventure through the jungle in a show with audience participation, games, riddles, and songs that is suitable for children aged from one to nine.

The Ardhowen is soon welcoming back the Sewtastic Summer School, suitable for children aged between 10 to 16 years old.

This summer’s dates will be from Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28, from 10am to 1pm, and will see participants learn sewing machine basics.

All materials are provided, and participants will use their new skills to make a tote bag.

Belvoir Players return with ‘Strictly for the Birds’, showing at 8pm from Thursday, July 27 to Saturday, July 29. During the show, audiences will be treated to a hilarious evening of comedy and mayhem.

Follow Muriel and Herbie Glover and their daughter, Susan, as they enjoy life in the domestic setting of a terraced house somewhere in Belfast.

However, a shared sweepstake ticket with a considerable sum of money at stake looks set to upend the household’s domestic bliss in what promises to be a highly-entertaining comedy.
