Roslea 2-12 Tempo 0-9
Sean Quigley hit 2-7 as Roslea secured their place in the SFC Final with a comfortable 2-12 to 0-9 win over Tempo in their semi-final replay in Brewster Park this evening.
Tempo had come from five points down to force a draw last week but they were second best throughout this encounter with Quigley bagging his side's first goal after only three minutes.
The full forward held off Aidan Breen before smashing the ball to the roof of the net to give the Shamrocks an early lead as they led from start to finish.
The goal was to separate the sides at the break with Roslea leading 1-4 to 0-4.
Quigley landed three points with the impressive Niall Cosgrove also chipped in with a score while Tempo's score came from Tiernan Bogue, Daryl Keenan (2) and PJ Rodgers.
Quigley and Breen traded points at the start of the second half but Roslea began to pull clear as Quigley, Niall Beggan, Niall Cosgrove and Shane McMahon registered points before Quigley grabbed his second goal, finishing low past Stephen Jackson after an incisive move to make it 2-9 to 0-5.
Tempo did rally with Lorcan McStravick, Breen, Conor Foy and Damian Kelly on target but Roslea never looked in danger and Quigley knocked over the last two points of the contest to send them through to the final.
