A Fermanagh athletes represented Northern Ireland in the London mini marathon on Saturday.
Harry McKenzie (ERGS) was in fine form as he clinched eighth in the U15 Boys and top NI athlete.
Annabel Morrison (ERGS) was 11th in the U17 girls and was the second scorer on silver medal winning NI team.
Piaras Toner (SME) was the leading NI U13 boy with Frank Buchanan (SME), Jamie McDonnell (SMI), Tiarnan McManus (SME), Annabel McKenzie (ERGS) and Eden Davis (MLE) all having good runs over the 2.6km course in what was Fermanagh’s biggest ever representation on the NI schools team.
Almost a quarter of the entire squad came from local schools showing the growing stature of athletics in the area.
