Derrygonnelly Harps selector Paul Ward says that the players deserve all the credit as they came from seven points down with ten minutes to go to claim a 5-08 to 3-10 win over Kinawley Brian Borus in Ederney today.
The Borus appeared to be in full control as goals from Ciaran Breen and Conor Murphy along with a number of Tomás Corrigan points put them into a 3-10 to 2-06 lead.
But a Garvan Jones goal with seven minutes to go breathed life into the Derrygonnelly challenge and with Gary McKenna bagging a late brace they went on to turn the game around and book their spot in next week's final.
