There was success for an 11th successive year for Fermanagh at the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol National Awards sponsored by Cornmarket.
In the highly competitive Social Media category which included entries from all counties throughout Ireland, Fermanagh came second a remarkable achievement when you put it into context with the size of many other counties.
The Award was presented to Fermanagh Treasurer Liam Magee at Allianz Cumann na mBunscol’s Annual Banquet in the Mullingar Park Hotel Hotel, Co. Westmeath.
Fermanagh Allianz Cumann na mBunscol chairman Brian Treacy speaking commented: “The committee were delighted to once again be recognised at these prestigious awards.”
He went on to say: "It is an award that the committee, teachers of the county and schools should be proud of.
"When you think of the population that many other counties have, I feel it puts into context our achievement in winning this award.
"It also demonstrates what a tremendous structure we have in Fermanagh at Allianz Cumann na mBunscol level."
Mr. Treacy went on to pay tribute to Liam Magee and Niall McElroy who look after the Social Media and Public Relations area for the committee.
