As with all match-ups before a ball is thrown in, it is all hypothetical. Some players may not start, others may get injured. Here we have put together three potential key battles that could have a significant impact on Sunday's game between Fermanagh and Armagh.

Potential Key Battles: 

Che Cullen v Andrew Murnin

If Murnin starts at the edge of the square, Che Cullen is likely to pick him up.

The experienced defender will know the trouble Murnin can cause and will have to be at his best to nullify the threat.

Murnin is a great target man for Armagh but Cullen has battled with the best in the past and came out on top. If he wins this battle it will give great confidence to Fermanagh.

Cullen is not afraid of bombing forward as well and this could push Murnin further out the field and less of a threat to Fermanagh's goals.

Conor McShea v Aidan Forker

McShea has wore the No.11 jersey in recent games for Fermanagh and he may be given the task of stopping the influence of Forker.

The Maghery man is a serious influence on Armagh's performance and the foundation for a lot of what they do well.

Garvan Jones v Aaron McKay

If Armagh watched Fermanagh's last league game against Cavan they will be well aware of the damage Jones can do. 1-08 in total with 1-07 from play, Fermanagh will need him to be hitting something similar.

Jones can also come out the pitch to provide support around the middle but it will be in front of the goals where Fermanagh fans will be hoping he does the business.

McKay has been a standout performer for Armagh in recent seasons and his strong tackling, no-nonsense defending could well be utilised Fermanagh's target man, Jones.

McShea's engine and tigerish tackling can help to stifle Forker's influence going forward. But he will also have to chip in on the scoreboard if Fermanagh are to cause an upset.
