Darragh Love tasted more success abroad at the weekend as he took home the gold medal at another international wrestling tournament.
Darragh travelled to Alicante and, with his win, picked up valuable world points in aid of his quest for the European championships U20 79kg.
The Fermanagh native raced to two opening wins, going 10 points clear 10-0 and 12-1 in both, before facing a more challenging encounter in his third match but that didn’t stop him from making it three wins from three.
With another win, it means Darragh continues to impress GB selectors with gold again. He competes at Erne Wrestling training sessions at the Southwest Academy of Sport in Irvinestown and also acts as a leader for younger athletes.
The club will travel to Carrickfergus next weekend for the Ulster Championship.
