Fermanagh 0-07 Leitrim 3-14
Fermanagh U20’s missed out on a place in the Andrew O’Neill Cup final after a heavy loss to Leitrim at the weekend.
Leitrim ran out 3-14 to 0-07 winners in the end at Lissan to advance on to the final as Oisin McGurn added a third goal in the second half to add to two quickfire strikes with less than 15 minutes played of the first half.
Fermanagh were handed a place straight into Saturday’s quarter-final as Lout conceded their quarter-final game that was due to be played in Derrylin.
Leitrim will go on to face Monaghan in this year’s final at the end of the month after the latter saw off Cavan 1-13 to 1-10 at the Kingspan Breffni.
Leitrim raced into an early lead with Conor McLaughlin grabbing a goal after seven minutes to make it 1-04 to no score.
Another goal followed before halftime as the sides went into the break at 2-07 to 0-02.
Fermanagh would register some early second-half points but a third goal from Oisin Gurn put the icing on the cake for the travelling side.
