Portora Boat Club made the trip to Lough Rynn in County Leitrim last weekend and racked up over 1,000m on the national standard multi-lane course.
The men’s over-55 coxless quad ended early when their race, against City of Derry, was interrupted by difficult conditions in a seven-crew final.
The men’s over-55 eight was a composite with City of Derry as they started last due to the age system in, again, very tough weather conditions.
The crew pulled back their seven-second disadvantage and eventually moved ahead of Athlone, Galway and Neptune from Dublin to win the race by three seconds.
Valerie Crawford, club Chairman, was thrilled with the result, saying: “It’s great to see the men following up on their win at Portadown.
"Once again coming from behind to really show their skill and determination.
"We also thank City of Derry for being so supportive as well as our hosts Enniskillen Royal Boat Club.”
The Portora men and women continue their preparation for the British Masters Championships in Nottingham when they compete in Belfast on Sunday in the 500m Belfast Sprint Regatta.
