Nathan Khan put in a commanding display in centre-midfield for Enniskillen Rangers last Friday night in the final of the fonaCAB Junior Cup final.
Whether it was breaking up Cleary Celtic attacks or putting Rangers on the offensive, Khan had a say in almost everything his side did well.
And in the two most important times in the match - when Enniskillen Rangers found the back of the net, he was instrumental in them.
For the first goal he did well to dispossess a Cleary Celtic player coming out of defence.
A quick one-two with Jake Browne and Khan had the space to play Mark Cutler down the right wing whose cross was finished by Willie Burleigh.
For the second goal, it was Khan's excellent delivery that allowed Eoin McManus to nod the ball down for Jason Keenan to seal the win.
Carrying his Player of the Match trophy as he took in the celebrations after the victory can described the night as "absolutely amazing".
"These are the nights you dream of in junior football. To come away as winners in unbelievable."
Looking back at the game Khan relfected: "In fairness to them they had a couple of good chances in the first half but we knew if we just kept playing our game, they were starting to tire a bit. If we kept knocking the ball about we knew our chances would come.
"Thankfully Willie Burleigh does what he does best; he puts it in the back of the net."
Khan continued: "It was just a matter of keep playing our game. Maybe get the ball down and move it quicker especially on this pitch.
"That’s what we did in the second half. Just knocked it about. Tire them out and the chances would come."
And on his Player of the Match award, Khan concluded: "I'm absolutely delighted with it. It’s a nice one for the mantleppiece but just delighted to get the victory.
"Theses nights don’t come round too often."
