Tummery Athletic have announced that Ryan Hanna will leave the club following the end of the 2023/24 Fermanagh and Western season.

Hanna guided the Dromore side to this year’s Mulhern Cup as they also came runner-up in the Mercer League and reached the semi-final of the Junior Cup.

Athletic won three Mercer League titles on the bounce after securing their first-ever with Hanna in his first season in charge in 2019.

Reports suggest that Hanna will become the new manager of Enniskillen Town United next season following Rory Judge’s decision to step down from the post after 16 years at the helm.

Speaking on Hanna’s time with the club, Tummery posted on their Facebook page: “We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ryan for his contributions and commitment. Ryan joined as a player and his impact was immediate, played in the true TAFC spirit, giving it everything in every training session and match.

“When he took over as Player Manager in October 2019, he injected his usual high standards and gave the team a sense of belief as they embarked upon an unbelievable run of form in winning our first Mercer League title and to make it a hattrick of Mercers was beyond our wildest dreams.”
