The Enniskillen Running Club is reminding all keen runners that the Enniskillen 10K is this weekend, June 15, at 9.30am.
The run is returning for the first time since the global pandemic with the last 10k coming back in 2019.
It will return after five years away with over 1,000 runners to be in attendance and a number of charity representatives already committing to the cause.
Registration and bib collection will be at the Fermanagh house this Thursday evening from 5pm until 8.30pm.
Online registration closes on the evening of Wednesday 12 this week!
On the day, there will be warm-up music from DJ Aidy Kelly and Dylan Quinn and there will also be face painting balloon modelling and characters for kids at the castle and at the finish line.
The run begins at Enniskillen Castle and then down through the town before reaching the National Trust Castle Coole Estate and back.
There have been some changes made to the route but it will still include the popular Ardhowen Hills along the way.
The first 1,500 finishers of the 10K will receive a unique medal and t-shirt to mark their run with some tangible memories.
