The Cumann na mBunscol competition came to a conclusion in Brewster Park last week with eight school finals in the girls' and boys' sections.
It was a joyous day for St. Mary’s Primary School, Teemore who claimed the Division One title in both the boys and girls finals.
It was also double delight for St. Martin’s Primary School, Garrison taking both Division Three titles. A large crowd gathered to enjoy a successful day of football in Enniskillen on a memorable day for some of Fermanagh’s young GAA stars.
In the boy's Division One final, St. Mary’s defeated St. Paul’s Primary School, Irvinestown 6-09 to 4-08 in a thrilling and high-scoring affair.
Meanwhile, St. Mary’s, Primary School, Maguiresbridge saw off St. Macartan’s Primary School, Aghadrumsee 6-11 to 0-08 in the Division Two final.
A 7-07 to 3-07 win for St. Martin's, Garrison was enough for them in Division Three against St. Tierney’s Primary School, Roslea and Tattygare Primary School, Lisbellaw claimed the Division Four title for a second successive year after a 4-10 to 3-05 win over Killyhommon Primary School, Boho.
The St. Mary’s Primary School, Teemore girl's side also claimed back-to-back wins in Division One with a win over St. Ronan’s Primary School, Lisnaskea as both teams met again in this year’s final.
St. Mary’s Primary School, Tempo retained their Division Two title by a five-point margin in a 1-04 to 0-02 victory against St. Macartan’s Aghadrumsee.
St. Martin’s Garrison overcame Belleek neighbours St. Davog’s Primary School, in Division Three and St. Mary’s Primary School, Brookeborough also made it successive wins in the Division Four final after beating Bunscoil an Traonaigh, Lisnaskea
