Enniskillen Town United youngsters had a day to remember when they were greeted by Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna at last Saturday’s youth training as he gave them some wise words of advice.
The Ipswich Town manager returned home to Fermanagh during the summer break from the football season and he had time to return to his former team and speak to some of the club’s upcoming young stars.
McKenna was a former Town player in his younger days and still has family links to the club with his brother James a player in the first-team squad.
McKenna is coming off the back of back-to-back promotions with Ipswich as his side sealed a return to the Premier League with a second-place finish in the EFL Championship to go back to the top flight for the first time in 22 years.
The Tractor Boys will begin their Premier League season with a mouthwatering fixture at home to Liverpool on August 17 at 12.30pm.
