Ederney hosted the celebrations for 50 years of Ladies Gaelic football on Saturday with a huge crowd joining in the celebrations at St. Joseph’s Park.
It was a fun-filled afternoon for some of the Erne County’s past, present and future GAA stars with plenty of entertainment available throughout.
There was an U12 blitz as girl’s teams from Ederney, Irvinestown, Tempo Maguires, Enniskillen Gaels, Belcoo, Derrygonnelly Harps, Kinawley, Maguiresbridge, Newtownbutler, Aghadrumsee and Knockninny all took part as well as the ‘Mothers and Others’ mini blitz Aghadrumsee, Belcoo and Teemore all competed.
The Fermanagh Ladies hosted a meet and greet with fans ahead of next weekend’s All-Ireland Junior Championship final against Louth in Croke Park following their semi-final win over Limerick.
Young fans also enjoyed a BBQ, a free kick and a penalty competition with an ice cream van on an unforgettable day celebrating Fermanagh GAA.
