Enniskillen & District Motorcycle Club members had a very successful weekend as the road race community headed to the normally quiet County Antrim village of Armoy for the annual 'Race of Legends' event held on the tight and twisty three-mile circuit.

Club member Sean Brolly couldn't have got off to a better start in the junior support class and after a seven-lap battle with Kevin Baker, it was Brolly who took the win by just 5/100ths of a second, with fellow club member Caomhan Canny completing the podium.

Canny also had a great ride in the senior support race finishing 2nd behind Baker with James Doy 3rd. Keith Richardson also rode a very good race in this one, finishing 7th in this very competitive class. Brolly also had two steady results in the supertwin races, when he finished 9th in each, both of which were won by Jamie Coward.

Long-time club member, Kyle Parkes, just missed out on a podium position in the moto3/125 class when he brought his little Honda home in 4th place behind Dominic Herbertson, Chris Meyer and Nigel Moore.

Parkes also had a good result in the 350 classic race, finishing 5th. The race was won by Barry Davidson who also completed a double in the 500 class. Meanwhile, Richard Ford and Andy Hornby had wins in the 250 and 1000 races respectively.

Davey Todd was the rider of the weekend, and after having secured a 2nd place finish in the first supersport race on Friday behind Mike Browne, he then went on to take victory in the second supersport, the open class and the main race of legends. There were also wins by David Bell in the classic superbike and Chris Meyer in the lightweight supersport.
