The Enniskillen Spooktacular is back for 2024 as Erne runners look forward to another night of action this October.

Last year was a record-breaking night for the event with 1,504 entries and 1,325 beginning the 5K race.

This year’s event will take place on Friday, October 25, with a start time of 8pm.

Registration for the run opened last Thursday, but you can still be part of the ‘Early bird offer’ that runs until the end of the month, August 31.

Registration for the race is £18 per adult, and £14 for juniors, however, if you avail of the early offer this month, the adult price will be £15 while the junior price is £11.

A range of spooktacular prizes will be included on the night, you can also get your hands on a Spooktacular half-zip, a medal with participants required to be over 11 years old.

You can register on the Spooktacular website, with a link provided on their Facebook page.

Last year’s overall winner Conor Bradley, from City of Derry Spartans, broke the course record with a time of 14:59. 2022 winner, Conan McCaughey (North Belfast Harriers) finished second last year with a time of 15:30.

The event’s organisers are again anticipating a good turnout for Ireland’s biggest race night as the annual fixture continues to grow in popularity year after year.
