Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich kick off their Premier League campaign this Saturday at midday as they host giants Liverpool at Portman Road.
It will be the Tractor Boys’ first appearance in the topflight since 2002 after the Fermanagh native guided them to back-to-back promotions after joining the club in 2021, leaving his role as a coach at Manchester United.
Ipswich sealed an automatic promotion place last year finishing one point behind champions Leicester City.
Southampton will join the Foxes and Ipswich after defeating Leeds United 1-0 in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.
McKenna signed a new four-year deal with the club in May, following speculation that Chelsea and Manchester United were interested in his signature.
Ipswich completed a club-record deal for the permanent signing of winger Omari Hutchinson from Chelsea after impressing on loan last season.
The deal is believed to be an initial £18million that could rise with add-ons.
38-year-old McKenna has also brought in defenders Jacob Greaves, Conor Townsend and Ben Johnson alongside goalkeeper Arijanet Muric and forward Liam Delap.
A deal for a season-long loan of Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips has also been agreed as they now look set to bring in Ireland international Sammie Szmodics from Blackburn Rovers.
The Premier League newcomers will be the first team to face Liverpool in the post-Jurgen Klopp era, now led by new Dutch manager Arne Slot.
You can watch Ipswich vs Liverpool on TNT Sports 1 at 12.30pm on Saturday, August 17.
