Irvinestown Tennis Club recently hosted the Fermanagh Masters Championships.

Players from across the province and neighbouring counties took part, displaying top tennis skills.

Local winners included Greg Boxer, who clinched the men's 30 singles and doubles titles with Donal Burns.

Conor Donaldson and Matthew McGann were runners-up.

Roger Howe and Orla Malone won the over-40s mixed doubles, with Stephen King and Bernice Clarke as runners-up.

Anne Buchana and Ineta Kryzeviciute took the over-30s C doubles title, with Wendy Eaton and Karen Johnston as runners-up.

Simon McCormack was runner-up in the men's C singles, and Vanessa McBrien was runner-up in the ladies' over-50s singles.

Donna McSorley and Emily White won the over-40s doubles.

Kathleen Maguire and David Lowe were winners in the Wilmer's over-60 mixed doubles.

The event was sponsored by SuperValu, with manager Ryan McCauley attending the championships.

Councillor Elaine Brough, vice chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, attended the presentations.
