Eimear Smyth was crowned TG4 Junior Players' Player of the Year Award over the weekend to add to her long list of accomplishments in 2024.
She made the trip to Dublin to collect the award at the LGFA All Stars with all of the ladies stars present at the Bonnington Hotel.
Fermanagh lifted the Junior Championship with a two-point win over Louth in Croke Park this year as Smyth scored 1-09.
She won the 2024 ZuCar Golden Boot award after scoring a total of 8-48 (72 points) with the closest scorer to her being Louth’s Kate Flood.
She was also named in the Junior Team of the Year alongside five of her Erne teammates including Knockninny Gaels’ Ciara Clarke, Newtownbutler’s Molly McGloin and Tempo trio, Bláithín Bogue, Cadhla Bogue and Shannan McQuade.
Speaking to TG4 at the awards, Smyth said: “I suppose it’s been a good year and it’s nice to be able to contribute to the team like that, that’s my job within the team, as a forward, so, it’s nice to be able to do that.
"Myself and Bláithín (Bogue) being nominated for the Junior Player of the Year it’s a really nice recognition I suppose for ladies football in Fermanagh it’s definitely been a special year.”
